Description: Play Project classes offer participants a safe, fun, and challenging introduction to parkour.  Each week our classes focus on a different parkour related skill and participants get to apply these skills to parkour related games and challenges.

Cost: $225.66 + HST

Location: Play Project Movement Training Centre
– 3466 Landmark Rd., Burlington ON.

Parent & Tot (3-5y)
Parent & Tot is an introductory class in which parents get to participate with their young child(ren). Participants will develop basic body coordination through parkour related movements (jumping, vaulting and balance) as well as learning through games.
No previous parkour experience is required to sign up for the Parent & Tot Class.

Kids (6-8y), Youth (9-12y), Teen (13-17y), and Adult (18+y) Classes
Participants in our regular parkour classes learn to use their bodies to vault, jump, run, roll, swing, and move quadrupedally. The difference between these four classes is the age ranges of the participants.  These classes serve as a solid introduction to the foundational skills of parkour.
No previous parkour experience is required to sign up for our regular parkour classes.

Advanced (6-12y & 13-17y) Classes
Our Advanced classes build off of our regular parkour classes to offer a more complex curriculum based on advanced skill development. The advanced classes focus on transitions, precise landings, and conditioning the body for parkour. This class explores the quickly growing competitive environment of skill based parkour competitions.
We require all Advanced class participants to have previously been enrolled in our regular parkour classes for a minimum of two sessions before taking our Advanced classes. Additionally, participants in our 13-17y Advanced class must be able to perform level kong precisions, smooth shoulder rolls on hard surfaces, and rail precision jumps at waist height with control.[/vc_column_text][dt-space height=”10″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Freestyle 1 (9-17y) Classes
Our Freestyle 1 class is an introductory class that focuses on teaching participants to incorporate acrobatic movements into their parkour training.  Participants will develop skills such as front flips, back flips, side flips, and wall spins.
No previous parkour experience is required to sign up for Freestyle 1.

Freestyle 2 (9-17y) Classes
Our Freestyle 2 classes expand on the Freestyle 1 curriculum by focusing on teaching advanced acrobatic and twisting movements, tumbling, creativity, and conditioning. This class explores the quickly growing competitive environment of freestyle parkour competitions.
Participants are required to have taken Freestyle 1 before taking this class and are required to be able to land their back flips, side flips, and front flips on the floor consistently.

Time Trials (9-17y) Classes
Our Time Trials class is an introductory class that allows participants to explore parkour training with a focus on speed and racing against the clock.
